Tonera

Tonera turns recordings into something you can actually edit. Upload an MP3, WAV or other audio file and it transcribes the performance into MIDI using Spotify's Basic Pitch model, processed free in your browser with no sign-up. From there you can export MIDI, MusicXML, PDF sheet music, ABC notation or chord charts, which covers most of what a musician, teacher or producer needs to get a melody into their DAW or onto a stand. Optional server-side stem separation splits a mixed track before transcription when you need cleaner results. It suits musicians transcribing ideas, teachers making sheet music from recordings, and producers who hum a melody and want notes. The honest trade-offs: automatic transcription struggles with dense mixes and fast passages, so expect cleanup on complex material, and the best results come from the paid stem separation. For quick audio-to-MIDI without installing anything, Tonera is excellent.
