ShotEdit is the screenshot editor most people actually need: drop an image in, crop it, draw an arrow, blur the part with a customer's email in it, add a label, export. Nothing is uploaded — editing happens entirely in the browser — which is the whole point when the screenshot contains a dashboard, an invoice, a Slack thread or anything else you would rather not hand to a third-party server just to add a red circle. There is no watermark, no sign-up and no export limit, so it fits naturally into support replies, bug reports, documentation and course material. The trade-offs are the ones you'd expect from a focused tool. It is not a design app: no layers, no pixel retouching, no brand templates and no shared asset library, and because everything is local there is no cloud history or team workspace — each edit starts fresh. For screenshot annotation specifically, that narrowness is a feature, and it beats opening a full design suite to draw one arrow. Free.
