Cutout Free

Cutout Free is a browser-based background removal tool offered under the ClapClip brand. Users upload a photo, inspect the separated subject, and export a transparent PNG or a version with a replacement background. The interface supports common photo formats and offers solid background colors as well as replacement images. It is positioned for product photography, profile pictures, pets, and reusable design elements, with comparison and zoom controls for checking fine edges. The web tool is free without an account, credits, or a stated daily allowance. Importantly, it is not an offline utility: the site's FAQ explicitly says photos are uploaded for online processing. Its associated Windows application has a separate local workflow and additional tools, which should not be confused with the free web service. Results depend on subject separation and image quality, so hair, whiskers, handles, and thin structures may need closer inspection before the cutout is used commercially.
