B1 Sprechen

The B1 German speaking exam is taken in pairs, which makes it genuinely hard to rehearse on your own — you need both an examiner and a second candidate to plan with, disagree with and respond to. B1 Sprechen solves that by running the complete oral exam with AI examiners and an AI partner playing the other candidate. It covers all three parts of the exam in the format of either Goethe (15 minutes of preparation) or telc (20 minutes), so the timing and structure match what you will face on the day. Afterwards, feedback quotes the sentences you actually said and explains what to improve, which is far more useful than a generic score. In fact it deliberately gives no score, focusing instead on concrete corrections. Pricing is one-time packs from €7.90 with no subscription, which suits learners who only need intensive practice in the weeks before an exam. It is independent and not affiliated with Goethe or telc. The honest limits: it is narrowly focused on the B1 speaking test, so it will not help with writing, listening or other levels, and an AI partner cannot fully replicate the unpredictability of a nervous human candidate. For anyone booked onto a B1 exam — for work, study or residency — it is a practical way to rehearse the part most people dread.
