Apra Fleet is an open-source framework from Apra Labs for coordinating several AI coding agents at once, across more than one machine. Instead of a single assistant working through a task alone, Fleet lets agents split work, run code on different devices and review each other's output before it is accepted, with MCP integration so it plugs into existing agent tooling. The peer-review step is the interesting part: having one agent check another's changes catches a share of the mistakes a lone agent would ship. Because it lives on GitHub and is free, you can read the code, self-host it and adapt the workflows to your own repositories. The honest trade-offs: this is a developer framework rather than a polished app, so expect setup work, configuration and some familiarity with agent tooling; running many agents also multiplies model costs from whichever provider you use. For engineers experimenting with multi-agent coding pipelines, it is a free and transparent place to start.
